Who we are

SC-Airport Cars is the data controller for the information you share with us. We’re a family-run transfer firm based at 126 Fair Oak Road, Bishopstoke, Eastleigh SO50 8LP. You can reach us about a booking by email at steve@sc-airportcars.co.uk or by phone on +44 (0)7830 817000.

Our website is built and run on our behalf by Fixels, our web agency, who also handle data-protection queries for us. For anything about your personal information — including the requests below — please contact Fixels at hello@fixels.co.uk.

What we collect

When you fill in our quote form or get in touch, we collect:

• your name and phone number, and
• the details of your journey — pick-up, destination, date and time, and how many passengers are travelling.

If you message us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone, we’ll also have whatever details you choose to share. We only ask for what we need to quote and arrange your trip, and we don’t take payment details through this website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to:

• give you a fixed-price quote and arrange and carry out your transfer — which we need to do to take steps at your request and to provide the service you’ve booked; and
• reply to your enquiries and look after you as a customer — which is in our legitimate interest as a business.

We don’t use your details for marketing unless you’ve asked us to, and we never sell your information.

Who handles your information

To run the website and get back to you, a few trusted providers handle data on our behalf:

• our email provider, Resend, which delivers enquiry emails to us;
• our website host, Vercel, which runs the site;
• our web agency, Fixels, which builds and maintains the website for us.

If you contact us through WhatsApp, your message is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own terms. These providers act on our instructions only. Some may process data outside the UK; where that happens, suitable safeguards are in place to protect it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the website is used — for example, how many people visit and which pages are popular. It’s privacy-friendly: it doesn’t set any cookies, doesn’t track you across other websites, and doesn’t collect information that identifies you personally. We don’t use advertising cookies or any other tracking.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry and booking details only for as long as we genuinely need them — to arrange your trip, deal with any follow-up, and meet our legal and accounting obligations — and then we delete them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• show you the information we hold about you;
• correct anything that’s wrong;
• delete it;
• restrict or object to how we use it; or
• give you a copy to reuse elsewhere.

To make any of these requests, contact Fixels (our data-protection contact) at hello@fixels.co.uk and we’ll help. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk — though we’d always appreciate the chance to put things right first.
